My favorite teachers were Mr. Kerner, Mr. Feingold, and the Earth Science teacher whose name I can't remember due to a senior moment -- it just came to me, Mr. Diamond. (1959)

I had a few. Mr. Leder was at the top. He helped me get through spanish and even took me home once after school. He was a firm dean but very fair and a great teacher.
The other one who I will miss is Mr. Speilberg. He was swimming & track coach and recently passed away. He taught me how to swim at the Brook Sun & Swim Club in Canarsie. I'll never forget my last lesson when he threw me in the 11' section and said swim. I thought I would drown but obviously not.
